There’s something about the combination of freedom and responsibility at your school that is working for her. She enjoys how hard you push her (her words) because I think she sees herself doing things she never thought she could do.

We are looking for the people who are looking for us.

We want students who will thrive in an environment that respects their individuality. From students who stand out (or stick out) to students who tend to hide in plain sight - there's potential for anyone to find a place on our team.

We welcome students applying for grades six through eight. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or gender expression.

Please read on to find out more about our application process.

Admissions procedure

NOTE: Our application deadline for the 2019 - 2020 academic year has passed, but we will continue to take applications on a rolling basis as space allows.

Here's how it goes:

  1. You, the parent, will fill out an application online.

  2. Your child fills out the printable student application.

  3. We will contact you to set up an initial call to discuss your child's needs and answer questions (approximately 20 minutes) if we haven't already had the opportunity to do that.

  4. We meet with your child in person for a one-on-one one evaluation to determine academic needs..

  5. The prospective student, once accepted, is welcome to join us for all or part of a school day (for rising sixth graders, we recommend shorter visits). The visit can be scheduled at your convenience.

  6. We will let you know our decision regarding enrollment by April 1.

  7. We will continue to take students after April 1 on a rolling basis, as space allows.

If you would like to visit our school prior to engaging in the above admissions process, we welcome you!

Visitors can be accommodated at 10:00 each weekday morning while school is in session. Schedule a visit right here on our website.

You can feel free to contact us to discuss your child's needs at any point in the application process. We're happy to answer questions and discuss how our program might be a fit. We invite you to schedule a call.

We aim to keep our tuition low enough to be within reach for families who never intended to leave public school but find our opportunity compelling. We do have a number of students who apply only to The Little Middle School. Our program is unique.

Tuition for 2019 - 2020 is $10,800.

Tuition can be split into as many as ten payments. There are no additional school fees.

Tuition does not include meals, field trips, tutoring, or special events.
